80s Punk & New Wave

Punk and so called: "New Wave" tracks with construction kit method phrases & loops. Inspired by only the rudest guitar driven LA Punk, NY Punk, UK Punk, Ska, Hardcore, PostPunk and New Wave from the early and up to mid eighties.

Poison Kontrol
Loads of intoxicating licks from guitars, bass, keys, drums and more. All loops are based on live performances from mic'd stacks, kits and analog favorites of the time. With choice of Dry mix or 80ies infected over-bloated commercial saturation for all loops. Uncivilized drumkit multi-tracks from kick, snare and overheads for each c-kit mix are included.

A mean authentic resource which includes materialistically tainted contemporary blends as well. Excitement and the stuff of legends and urban myths. Minimalist, well recorded arrangements with excessive raw grit.

Pure Filth!

23 Construction Kits, 1.6 GB Punk & New-Wave Sounds, Loops and Samples

Mercury Recording Equipment

Pultec Equalizers are some of the rarest and most sought after studio tools in the industry today. Engineers lucky enough to be able to work with them find their musicality and warm tonality extremely important to their studio's "sound." The simple beauty of these EQs is unsurpassed!
The original Pultec equalizers were tools developed to deal with the limitations of recorded music. Limitations that most often manifest themselves in the highest and lowest frequencies of the program material. Pultecs were designed to bring back the life and musicality lost in the recording. Whether by accident or genius, nothing has been able to do it better. The interaction of the passive boosting and attenuating shelving eqs (not relying on negative feedback), as well as the transformers, tubes and other amplification circuitry all add to the incredibly musical character of the product. Working engineers try other types of equalizers, but always end up coming back to the Pultec as the equalizer of choice for those final touches.

The Stevie Ray Vaughan "Lenny"

Jimi's replica is on your living room wall and you've already got enough G.A.S. to consider your next purchase that will be equivalent to several months of salary. This is Stevie Ray Vaughn's Strat "Lenny" and it goes on sale December 12th. What can I say, if you want an amazing Strat, here it is. All the chips, scuffs, burns, the marker writing on the back and the amazing bridge inlay that is the guitar SRV uses in the song "Lenny" and others can be yours! Oh, let me mention. THIS GUITAR COSTS $17,000!! Granted, there are only 185 of these puppies made. Anyhow, I can't imagine how awesome the tone on this must be in my own hands, but for a good idea, you can go to this Youtube video link and get a pretty goddamn good idea. Of course, if you are 99.8% percent of guitar players, you cannot afford this.

Hot Hand Guitar Effects ?

Who's got 309.95 to spend on a hand movement activated wah wah? Well, unless you are a studio guru who is looking to buy every piece of equipment in the world or simply just one of those 70's filmmakers with a penchant for wah, this is probably something to chuckle at and forget about. Well, is it? Dude, its a RING THAT YOU PUT ON YOUR FINGER THAT MAKES A WAH SOUND! This thing is kind of cool.
There's all sorts of setting and filters you can apply to your wah but the main thing is that you will look like a spastic person making really weird hand movements as you strum your axe. But you know what else? You can wear this thing as a head band if you want the wah to replicate your headbanging. That's pretty sweet. Except we all know that wah-ing with your foot is the cool way to go.

Gibson's Robot Guitar?

Welcome to the 21st century, where young guitar players can't tune their own guitars because a robot does it for them. "A robot!?" you exclaim? Yep, Gibson has just released the first guitar that does everything short of getting you laid and playing dirty Page licks. It has a battery powered automatic tuner, LED on the tone knobs to let you know which string is out of tune, a freaking CPU in the headstock, data transmitting tailpieces, the list goes on. Wait, actually, the list doesn't go on. Besides the "revolutionary automatic intelligent tuning device", it's pretty much a regular guitar. Hot rodded pickups, some weird nitro cellulose bright blue finish and locking tuners maybe, but besides that it's still a good old Gibson. Except for you wouldn't want to be seen anywhere in public with this thing. And I'd be willing to bet the "tuner computer" can't do jack against a couple of Townshend roundhouses or a little bit o' rough handling, if you know what I mean. All in all, its fun to look at it in the store, but come on Gibson. Just make better quality classic machine heads and we'll be fine.

Thingamagoops Chaos

A weird but fun style synth, I want to get one!
http://www.blogger.com/img/gl.link.gif
The Thingamagoops are really just simple, analog type synthesizers that you control in a different way.
The Thingamagoops have oscillators just like any synth. On analog synths the oscillator that creates the actual tone you hear is called a VCO or voltage controlled oscillator. The Bleeps work a little differently so we'll just call it the main oscillator. Instead of using a keyboard, the main oscillator in the Thingamas is controlled by a photocell.

The SL's two giant 144-character screens display up to sixteen assigned parameters at once, with the essential data laid out logically right before the user’s eyes.

Vintage Tube Warmth

The Sputnik mic’s military-grade 6205M vacuum tube is a diminutive pentode wired as a triode; the output behavior is like that of a perfect current source so it’s tolerant of a wide range of load conditions. The tube operates at high voltages—allowing an enormous dynamic range—but with less heat dissipation than other designs. As a result, you can easily hang this mic upside down or use it upright without having to worry about overheating the capsule.

Echo Verb by Blue Coconut Ltd

The sound and tactile feel of a real tape echo is back! The ECHOVERB boasts 6 replay heads with one record and erase head, offering 6 different delay times, which can be used in any combination along with a tape reverb mode too. Being a totally new design rather than a copy, the aim was to eliminate all the problems associated with early tape echo machines, improving the performance, whilst retaining the unique analogue tape echo sound which has never been achieved through digital devices, be it hardware or software based plug-ins. Modern improvements for example include extremely low noise circuitry and the ability to select any combination of 6 available heads. Also, a precision custom made fly wheel ensures no noticeable pitch deviation (WOW and Flutter), compared to that of the old tape echo device. It also has a solid chassis with an authentic but contemporary look and gives function and reliability both for the gigging musician, and for a studio environment.
